Why is it that the financial lending industry is so confusing to people?
I mean – if you work in the financial aid industry – yeah you get it but it took you at least 6 months to even begin to get comfortable with “what is a student loan” and how the heck does it work?
Having worked in the student loan industry for 6 years I am pretty comfortable with it and how it works. I’ve gone out to sites to read blogs on financial aid and what it really means and how it can apply to you…but most of them are written so “scholarly” like. Can someone speak English please???!!!??
I understand where frustrated students are coming from because I actually understand the industry and I hear so many colleagues speak like they have their PhD in student loans. Has anyone experienced this? Have you ever asked the questions about how the heck do I get money to pay for college and someone delivers this studious lecture?
